Since 1996, the centerpiece of the calendar has been the annual Hall of Fame Banquet, which takes place each April in Indianapolis. Each year, we honor several of the legends of Indiana sports journalism at the banquet, both with Hall of Fame inductions as well as the traditional presentation of the Marv Bates Indiana Sportscaster of the Year and Corky Lamm Indiana Sportswriter of the Year Awards.

We strive to build community and bring honor to our profession. We will also be planning other events during the year. This site is intended to be a "destination" for Indiana sports journalists, with community through the message board, information through the jobs board and also several helpful links and databases.
