Fred Inniger has done it all at East Noble High School -- including broadcast the Knights' games on radio for more than 35 seasons.
Inniger has broadcasted East Noble's football, boys basketball and girls basketball games throughout that career, calling games for both WAWK and WCVM during that time.
He began broadcasting in 1969, and has spent a total of 35 years calling East Noble football games and 27 years calling basketball games. He has been a versatile announcer, working both play-by-play and color roles.
When he hasn't been behind the mircophone, Inniger has been on the sidelines. He has coached multiple East Noble athletic teams, including the boys basketball, girls basketball and baseball squads.
In 2001, he won the Virgil Sweet Award from the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association for his contributions to the sport.
Inniger graduated from Manchester College and began teaching math at East Noble in 1966. He later served as a counselor at the school, and also has served in local government. He has master's degrees from St. Francis and Ball State Universities.
